To modernize the technology implemented to maintain and increase safety while traveling, the FAA has been making monumental improvements, and are working to prove to patrons that the skies are safer than before. Figuring out means to update current technology and develop new technology to improve the quality and effectiveness of air travel for both private and commercial use, the 58 acre NextGen Aviation Research and Technology Park found at the William J. Hughes Technical Center is diligently at work right next door to the FAA's headquarters in New Jersey.
